Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It has Come to our attention that many of you are having issues with your medical. The Union with Valiant executed Addendum A (located in the glass case in the break room) at the end of July, providing Valiant the necessary vehicle to pay your benefits to the trust fund while negotiations continue.
We have reached out to Valiant numerous times in the last few days to clear this up. However, we have not gotten any response from Valiant.
We urge all of you to call RACHEL CASTLEBERRY at Valiant at 931-905-8727. She is the Payroll Manager. Ask her why you don't have insurance and why haven't your benefits been paid.
We need YOUR help to put pressure on Valiant to pay your benefits ASAP.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Nos ha llamado la atención que muchos de ustedes están teniendo problemas con su atención médica. La Union con Valiant ejecutó el Anexo A (ubicado en la vitrina de la sala de descanso) a fines de julio, proporcionando a Valiant el vehículo necesario para pagar sus beneficios al fondo fiduciario mientras continúan las negociaciones.
Hemos tratado de comunicar con Valiant varias veces en los últimos días para aclarar esto. Sin embargo, no hemos recibido ninguna respuesta de Valiant.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,We want to update you in regards to the new contract provider at DGMC, Valiant. The Local Union has taken the necessary steps to negotiate a new one, since, Valiant currently does not have an Agreement with the Laborers anywhere in the U.S.
In fact, today, 4/28/2022, the Local Union, together with the International Office, has its first negotiating session with Valiant.
On Monday, May 2nd at 2pm and 6pm, we will meet with all of you at the Fairfield Office to update you on the contract negotiations. Also, all of you will need to sign new Dues Authorization forms and Cards of Representation.
The Union did negotiate and confirm with FSI that ALL accrued vacation AND sick time will be paid out to the employees on the last day of employment with FSI.

De hecho, hoy, 28/04/2022, el Local, junto con la Oficina Internacional, tiene su primera sesión de negociación con Valiant.
El lunes 2 de mayo a las 2:00 p. m. y a las 6:00 p. m. nos reuniremos con todos ustedes en la oficina de Fairfield para informarles sobre las negociaciones del contrato. Además, todos ustedes deberán firmar nuevos formularios de autorización de cuotas y tarjetas de representación.
El Local negoció y confirmó con FSI que TODAS las vacaciones acumuladas Y el tiempo por enfermedad se pagarán a los empleados en el último día de empleo con FSI.
